In January 1998, Dan established the Casto Insurance Agency in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh.

Dan spent several years as an adjuster in the insurance claims industry before starting his agency. Through his agency, Dan wanted to help customers better understand the importance of proper protections and how the claims process works. With over 25 years of experience, this agency brings a wealth of knowledge to the industry.
